How
Dashboard → Settings → Delete account at the bottom. Type your email to confirm — this is intentional friction to prevent accidental deletions.
What gets removed immediately
- Profile (name, phone, avatar, address, location)
- Saved providers, search history
- All notifications
- Push subscriptions
What stays (legally required)
- Past completed bookings are kept for 7 years as required by Canadian tax law (CRA)
- Your name on those bookings is anonymised to "Deleted user"
- Pro reviews you wrote stay on the pro's profile under "Anonymous" — pros are entitled to their public reputation
For pros
Deleting your account also:
- Disconnects your Stripe Connect account (we cannot withhold payouts you've earned — they continue per Stripe's schedule)
- Cancels any future-scheduled bookings (customers are refunded)
There's no "soft delete" or recovery period — once you confirm, it's permanent.
