Step 1 — Apply
Become a Pro → fill out the 5-step form:
- Info — business name, phone, experience years
- Services — pick every service you offer
- License — upload trade license/permit (PDF or photo)
- Background — consent to Certn background check
- Bio & Rates — public bio, hourly rate, minimum charge, visit fee (or "free estimates")
Approval typically takes 2-3 business days. We'll email you.
Step 2 — Complete your profile
After approval, head to /pro/profile and:
- Upload a clear headshot or business logo (square crop, 800×800 min)
- Set your weekly availability (which days + hours you accept jobs)
- Add per-service custom rates if any service should price differently from your default
- Optional: verify your identity via Stripe Identity for the "ID Verified" trust badge — this measurably increases bookings
The Onboarding Checklist on your dashboard tracks every step and shows you a weighted % so you know where to focus.
Step 3 — Connect Stripe
You can't receive payouts until your Stripe Express account is connected:
- /pro/dashboard → "Connect Stripe to get paid"
- Stripe asks for your SIN/BN, banking, and business address
- One-time, ~3 minutes
Step 4 — Go live
- Toggle the "Go Live" switch on your dashboard
- You're now visible in customer search results
- Jobs start landing in /pro/jobs
